Lainey Wilson and Trisha Yearwood recently shared a stage during the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, where they discovered numerous similarities in their backgrounds. Both artists hail from small Southern towns, with schoolteacher moms and banker-farmer dads. They each have an older sister and expressed mutual admiration for one another.
During the seminar, Yearwood playfully acknowledged Wilson's recent CMA entertainer of the year win, joking about her own lack of that accolade. Wilson, in turn, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to converse with Yearwood, whom she considers a childhood hero.
