During the convention, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz shared a photo of himself with Aldean in former President Trump's box, showcasing the singer's presence at the event. Aldean's support for Trump was further highlighted when, following the recent assassination attempt on the former president, he dedicated a performance of his song 'Try That in a Small Town' to Trump.
