The councilman, Josh McBroom, clarifies that while his proposal was tongue in cheek, it was also intended to be a challenge to Biden voters who display signs in their yards stating 'no human is illegal.' McBroom believes that these affluent individuals should back up their beliefs by offering housing to those affected by the current border crisis.
