Council chiefs insist they are on track to complete a probe into ‘leaking tombs’ at Ayr Cemetery.
Investigation work is continuing at the eastern side of the site with dozens of graves under inspection.
Below ground graves are being delicately checked using cameras to search for suspected 'water ingress'.
