Perth and Kinross Council has established a committee to tackle climate change and protect biodiversity.

The council has committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2045.

Last August the council agreed to establish a climate change commission with 26 members from the public, private and civic sectors “to help drive, guide, support and monitor climate action”.
