Objectors to planned double yellow lines in a West Lothian village will get the opportunity to make their case to councillors in August.
The road markings were among a draft set of waiting restrictions tabled to go before councillors at the Executive on Tuesday - the last meeting before the summer holidays.
But roads officers requested the item be withdrawn from the agenda to give objectors a chance to address the committee with their concerns.
