The mysterious disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie has taken an unsettling new turn. A self-styled investigator says he has found a pair of tan trousers and a knee brace abandoned in a wash near the home of her daughter, Annie Guthrie, and Annie's husband, Tommaso Cioni, raising fresh questions about what happened to the Arizona grandmother.
The octogenarian vanished from her Catalina Foothills property on the night before 1 February, prompting regional search operations. While officials believe she was abducted from her bed, the discovery of possible clothing and a medical device has ignited debate over her final movements.
