Could the Boston Celtics and Phoenix Suns be headed for a postseason collision in the 2024 NBA Finals? At least som Suns analysts think it is a reasonable possibility, and when you look at both teams on paper, they certainly look the part of two future finals opponents.
Both ball clubs are chock full of talent and a bit top-heavy. Both teams have some serious flaws as well, but have more than enough capable players to survive them so long as they get to the league’s biggest stage mostly healthy. The question for both organizations is whether that is a realistic possibility, given both Boston and Phoenix have a number of aging or injury prone players.
