Olivia Dean is the new favourite to sing the next James Bond theme song, according to a new statement from bookmakers William Hill.
Following her second album ‘The Art Of Loving’ last year, a Grammy Award for Best New Artist and her massive success at the BRIT Awards over the weekend, during which she claimed Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Act, the 26-year-old British singer-songwriter currently tops the odds for one of the most coveted gigs in music (and cinema).
The bookmaker makes Raye the second-favourite at 7/2, with Lana Del Rey at 4/1 as another prominent contender.
Elsewhere, Dua Lipa is a 7/1 chance, while Oasis and Charli XCX are 12/1 and 16/1 respectively.
Lee Phelps, a spokesperson for William Hill, said: “Olivia Dean’s Brit Awards clean sweep and live performance have clearly hit a high note with James Bond fans, and she’s now our even-money favourite to deliver the next 007 theme.”
He continued: “Raye (7/2), Lana Del Rey (4/1) and Dua Lipa (7/1) remain major players in the betting, followed by Harry Styles at 10/1. Miley Cyrus and Oasis aren’t considered to be natural suitors for the song, hence their shared odds of 12/1. But after a weekend where Dean was crowned the UK’s new queen of pop, it’s no surprise that she’s most-fancied to open the credits in the next Bond film.”
Beyond the odds, Dean would be an inspired choice for the next Bond track. She’s got the warmth, the swagger, and put simply: she'd kill it.

The wistful, incredibly catchy ‘Nice to Each Other’, the playful, piano-driven ‘Man I Need’, and the smoky, intimate pull of ‘A Couple Minutes’ reveal a 26-year-old with a clear gift for instantly memorable melodies and deceptively effortless songwriting.”

Dean was recently announced as the ambassador for UK Record Store Day 2026 (18 April), revealing her love of independent music stores: “It’s so important we continue to support them and keep them alive”.
As for Bond 26, it will be directed by Denis Villeneuve and is being written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight. It will be the first Bond movie since Amazon gained full creative control of the franchise, with long-serving producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson stepping down.
The lead role of James Bond has yet to be cast, but actors hotly-tipped for the part include Jacob Elordi and Callum Turner.
Production is expected to kick off in 2027, with a release planned for 2028.
