NASA is sending a powerful new observatory into space with a mission that goes far beyond taking spectacular pictures of distant galaxies.
The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is scheduled to launch Sunday aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket from Florida.
