Could Loch Ness be permanently changed? Fresh warning over hydro scheme

THE head of Ness District Salmon Fishery Board has warned of damage “beyond comprehension” should a hydro scheme on Loch Ness be granted planning permission.

The board plays a key role in protection and data gathering associated with populations of salmon and trout in Loch Ness and the surrounding area.
