A Leeds resident has shared their anger after being told to "wear mask" for coughing on a bus.
The individual, who shared their fury on social media under the name El Leeds, got the 36 bus - going from Leeds to Harrogate and Ripon- on Wednesday afternoon. But the journey wasn't enjoyable for them after another passenger was said to be making comments.
They said the woman made comments towards them after they coughed twice on the bus. "Stop coughing", they were allegedly told.

The woman who complained also said the individual needed to "wear a mask" if they are going to cough. El Leeds said the complainant shouldn't be in an enclosed space if they are concerned about people not wearing a mask.
The mandatory use of wearing a mask in public spaces ended in January, but some have carried on wearing masks anyway.
Sharing their frustration on Facebook, El Leeds said: "To the woman sat in front of me on the 36 bus this afternoon, who felt the need to make comments the entire two times that I coughed during the whole journey, about how I 'need to wear mask' and how I should 'stop coughing'.
"She also murmured 'shut up' when a man sat nearby was talking on his phone relatively quietly. It really does say a lot about someone's character when they make rude comments about random strangers who are simply minding their own business.
"And also what are you doing in an enclosed space not wearing a mask, if someone coughing very sporadically is such a concern to you?"
