Cotton Holding Higher on Tuesday

Cotton IS Oil United States US Dollar

Cotton futures are showing 40 to 81 point gains across most contracts on Tuesday. Crude oil is down $0.69/barrel at $66.29, with the US dollar index $0.597 higher to $98.360. 

Weekly Crop Progress data showed a total of 61% of the US cotton crop squaring, with 23% setting bolls. Condition ratings were up 2% to 54% gd/ex, as the Brugler500 index was up 3 points to 339.
