An Ayrshire book shop has been crowned the nation's favourite after just 18-months in business.

Sarah Frame opened the Book Nook in Stewarton in December 2020 to help refocus her energy after losing her youngest son Gordon the year before.

The gran of 12 was thrilled to have received the accolade which vindicated the risky decision to open a book shop during a worldwide pandemic.
