Costco is famous for its bargain prices and high-quality foods. The huge chain also allows people to order personalised products, but one customer was left in hysterics after her birthday cake request taken too literally
The shopper asked for half a sheet cake filled with vanilla cheesecake mousse, which serves 48 people. They wanted to keep the appearance pretty simple, requesting “no writing” and “no designs”, reports Daily Star.
They specifically asked for red frosting on the perimeter for top/bottom” and draw a picture to show what they meant.

But instead of red piping around the edges, when they picked up the treat they discovered it was a plain white cake with their diagram iced on top.
Taking to Reddit's r/funny forum they wrote: "Costco will give you exactly what you know you didn’t need.”
Later they wrote: "I typed the prompt: "Special order cake: No writing / No Designs. Only Request Red frosting on perimeter for top/bottom.
"Sadly you can input either text prompts or images, not both (for the platforms I tried at least)."
Scores of people responded to the post, with everyone finding it hilarious. One person wrote: "This is a thing of beauty."
Another said: "These people need a dictionary so they can look up "perimeter".
A third commenter wrote: “I laughed so hard I nearly woke up my baby.”
