With the nation in the midst of a cost of living crisis, people are looking to make savings wherever they can.
Petrol and diesel prices have risen significantly this year. Prices rose by 7% in the 12 months to March - the fastest rate in 30 years. As a result, more than 102,000 signatures were collected for a recent petition outlining a two-year proposal to combat soaring costs.
MPs debated the petition in Westminster Hall on Monday and, while not specifically endorsing the petition proposal, called for the Government to go further to help. The proposition of reducing fuel duty and VAT by 40% was raised in Parliament.
