Al Bayt Stadium is the stage for Germany to keep their World Cup hopes alive as they face whipping boys Costa Rica in Group E. A disappointing couple of results finds Germany surprisingly at the bottom of the group after they faced Japan and Spain.
Team DFB are the heavy favourites ahead of the match at 1/10 with bookies Betfred while Costa Rica are 25/1 and a draw is 10/1. The underdogs have won just once in their last 11 World Cup matches against European nations which was a 1-0 win against Italy back in 2014.
Germany must pick up three points to stay in contention of the competition. That along with a win for Spain will see them qualify but if they draw against Japan or if the Samurai Blue win then it would come down to goal difference. Anything else and Hansi Flick's side are out.
