Cost of London attractions, cinemas and kids meals to be slashed from Thursday

A temporary VAT cut to reduce prices at family attractions, the cost of children’s cinema tickets and restaurant meals is set to begin on June 25.

Chancellor Rachel Reeves announced the “Great British Summer Savings” measure as part of a package to ease cost of living pressures from the Iran war.
