Severn Trent launched its own new initiative to save customers cash. A Severn Trent spokesperson told Nottinghamshire Live: “For the last 10 years, our bills have been the second lowest in the country at around £1 a day, and they compare very favourably with other utility bills. But we know that many of our customers are struggling with the rising cost of living, which is why we increased our Big Difference scheme by an additional £30 million earlier this year to help a further 100,000 customers reduce their bills by as much as 90%".
