
Cost of living crisis has seen Londoners cut back on sport, warns charity
(Picture: AFP via Getty Images)Nearly half of all Londoners have cut back on exercise because of the cost of living crisis, a charity has warned.
A survey by London Sport to mark 10 years since London 2012 found that 45% of adults in the capital had reduced their spending on physical exercise and sport. And 49% of the city (compared to 33% nationally) said rising costs were discouraging them from using their local leisure facilities.
