Cost of living crisis: Bord Gais to raise gas and electricity prices by almost 40%

Bord Gais has announced that it is raising its price for gas and electricity by 27% and 39% respectively in April.

This is the latest blow to consumers who have faced rising costs across the board.

Bord Gais has also confirmed that it is ending its "winter pledge" program which protected customers over the colder winter period.
