Coronation Street could be rocked by a horror death this Valentine's Day.
Things are set to get quite dramatic on the cobbles for Adam Barlow and Sarah Platt next week - but a sinister note left for them by an unknown person leaves them both reeling as it foreshadows murder on the street.
In next week's episodes, Adam has his car windscreen smashed in and is convinced he knows Jeremy Brenner - who has been on a campaign to intimidate him - must be behind it. He heads to his work to confront him.
Jeremy admits to keying the car, but he denies he's behind the graffiti or the windscreen and despite still being convinced it's him, Adam decides to give up arguing and leaves.
Meanwhile, Sarah tells Carla and Lydia that she is worried Adam has just provoked Jeremy even further.
Things soon get even more dramatic for Adam - as he and Imran are held at gunpoint by police, as they search for a firearm in their office following a tip-off. Turning the office upside down, the police head off as Imran and Sarah blame Adam for what happened - insisting it was because he angered Jeremy. Determined, he decides to report Jeremy to the police for the false tip-off.
Adam later receives a silent phone call, followed by a second one, as he tries to assure Sarah that Jeremy is out of their lives for good.
However, he confesses to Imran about the calls - but doesn't agree with Imran's suggestion to let the police know about them.
Back at the house, Sarah and Gail are amazed to find a huge bouquet of flowers - which they presume must be from Adam. However, he's left confused when she thanks him for the flowers and they take a look at the card, horrified by what they read.
"Next bouquet will be for your funeral," the note says. The door was deadlocked so the pair are fearful the perpetrator may be there.
Sarah rings the police, unsure what to do as Adam finally details the harassment campaign he's been subjected to by Jeremy. Sarah is horrified as she finds out about the silent phone calls and they decide to get the locks changed.
Adam suggests Sarah and Harry go and stay with Nick whilst Sarah sends Peter to the flat to keep Adam company. There are more calls but Adam is told to ignore them by Peter. Elsewhere, his tormentor stares at the outgoing call on their phone.
The tormenter makes their way into the flat and snips the heads off two red roses, as they leave a note which reads: 'Happy Valentine’s Day. It might be your last'.
With Adam and Sarah in serious danger, will one of them meet their death on Valentine's Day?
