Coronation Street actress Saira Choudhry got engaged to her businessman beau Marcus Jackson – over 23 years after they first met.
The soap star, 40, announced the surprise New Year's Eve proposal earlier this evening, praising her long-term partner and their "next chapter".
Saira, who also starred in Hollyoaks, wrote: "I said yesss. Mrs Jackson it is then. love you @jaxson_2013 Met you 23 years ago."
