Coronation Street star Sam Aston has grown up on the soap playing cash-strapped Chesney Brown before becoming a doting dad to quads.
But the actor, himself comes from a big family as one of nine children - and not widely known two of his siblings also appeared in the Weatherfield based drama.
His older brother Joseph last appeared as a child actor on the Street playing the grandson of iconic characters Jack and Vera Duckworth.
The character was involved in a huge plot involving a custody battle with both sets of grandparents wanting to take care of him following the tragic death of his mother.
But Joseph didn't continue his soap star life and after stints in Where the Heart Is and Casualty he left acting behind him.
He has instead turned his hand to gardening and spending time with his girlfriend as he appears virtually unrecognisable from his younger self.
The character of Tommy Duckworth was subsequently recast as Darryl Edwards who took on the role from 1992 to 1997 and then Chris Fountain later took on the role from 2011 to 2013.
Joseph and Sam’s sibling – Emily, 40, - also appeared in Coronation Street as the character Rebecca Palmer for 51 episodes between 1996 – 1997.
And although his siblings have not stayed in the soap - Sam has proved to be a popular cast member and seen his character involved in some of the biggest story lines including a near fatal stabbing.
The actor, who's played Coronation Street's Chesney Brown since 2003, became a dad for the first time two year ago after wife Briony Gardner gave birth to their son Sonny.
The childhood sweethearts tied the knot in 2019 in what he called the "perfect" day.
Sam described becoming a dad as "an out-of-body experience".
Sam took to Instagram back in October to reveal his wife was pregnant again, sharing an adorable snap of Sonny standing alongside some pumpkins with a sign.
He later shared that they are expecting a girl.
The message read: "We're adding another pumpkin to our patch. Due Spring 2022."
