Coronation Street has hinted at dark scenes for the week ahead, involving a possible attack and the truth about a brutal death - while there's also a huge schedule shake-up.
One teen could turn killer and follow in her evil father's footsteps, as she plots a violent attack - or at least threatens to.
Meanwhile, another killer makes a comeback for scenes involving young Sam Blakeman.
There's also the return of actress Stephanie Beacham who is reprising her role as glamours Martha, ready to cause carnage for Ken Barlow.
Here's what viewers can expect on the cobbles next week, according to the latest spoilers.
Hope turns violent?
Coronation Street is lining up dangerous scenes next week, as troubled youngster Hope Stape wields a hammer around as she threatens teens at her school.
The character threatens the fellow youngsters, having recently discovered she has a lot in common with her killer dad - while she also joins a group chat called ‘Legacy of Evil’.
Hope never met her villainous father John Stape, but it seems she isn't worried about being related to the murderer.
Instead, following the release of a book about him and his crimes she decides to embrace her parentage.
Hope finds out she's being mocked by some older girls though - and she decides to make them pay.
When Hope overhears them calling her a nut job, she pulls the hammer from her bag and heads towards them. How far will Hope go, and should the girls watch their backs?
Killer Harvey returns
Coronation Street airs another return for killer Harvey Gaskell, played by Strictly Come Dancing's Will Mellor, next week.
The criminal has made a few reappearances in recent weeks, following young Sam Blakeman's decision to reach out to his mother Natasha's killer.
Harvey killed Natasha last year, while planning to murder Sam's stepmother Leanne Battersby.
Since then Sam has struggled to cope, and he's come to the decision he must face the villain to find out why he did what he did.
His dad Nick Tilsley and Leanne have been reluctant about this, not wanting little Sam to see Harvey, or relive his mother's murder.
But next week Sam finally gets his way, leading to another return for killer Harvey - as the pair come face-to-face, joined by Nick.
