Coronation Street lines up huge scenes next week, as there's a possible confession from one character and another is left for dead.
Killer Stephen Reid strikes again as he targets someone closer to home. His attempt to kill them results in an accident - but will the victim survive?
Elsewhere and Amy Barlow's rape ordeal is revisited as she comes to a heartbreaking decision and ends up having it out with her rapist Aaron.
But when Aaron is forced to go back over what happened between them, will Amy finally get the proof she needs? Here's the biggest moments of the week ahead on the ITV soap...
Amy and Aaron showdown
There's a realisation for Amy Barlow next week, as she continues to struggle in the fallout of her rape ordeal. Amy was raped by her friend Aaron Sandford earlier this year after a night out.
The pair were drinking alcohol in the flat and began to kiss, but Amy ended up becoming unwell and decided to go to sleep. Despite Amy not being conscious and not giving consent, Aaron had sex with her and later claimed they were as drunk as each other.
In the weeks that have followed, Amy and Aaron divided the street with their versions of events, but Amy's online post about her ordeal led to several if not all of the residents turning against Aaron.
Amy had initially withdrawn her police statement fearing she would not be believed, but has since reported him again - with Aaron's dad taking legal action against her.
As Amy's family fear they could lose everything paying legal fees, Amy decides to retract her version of events in a written statement once again but she can't find the words.
Amy shows Aaron her written retraction but when he points out that it doesn’t make sense, Amy sees red, telling him it’s hard to make sense of a pack of lies.
She tells him that if he doesn’t like it, he should write it himself and she’ll sign it. But he struggles to write the retraction, and soon Aaron goes back over that night - is this the proof Amy needs for court that Aaron did rape her?
Stephen kills Elaine?
Killer Stephen Reid strikes again next week, and it could lead to the death of another character. His partner Elaine Jones is on the receiving end of his evil antics, as he begins to drug her in an attempt to get her out of the way.
Despite concern from her son Tim Metcalfe, Elaine is in the dark about Stephen using her for her money. But a moment where she puts her foot down to his attempts to use more of her money leads to deadly scenes, with Elaine left fighting for her life.
Owen vows to take over the factory after Carla Connor's decision to sell up - and he has big news for Stephen. After Stephen's recent lies to him and Jenny Connor, Owen warns him that once the factory is his he's going to fire him.
Stephen gets planning, and he soon suggests again to Elaine that they should buy Carla’s share of the business - having already brought it up the week earlier.
But Elaine snaps, and is furious with him for trying to get her to invest in a business she wants nothing to do with and tells him no.
Stephen masks his fury, furious to not have his hands on the money, and he plots a devastating death twist for his partner.
Unaware that Stephen has replaced her blood pressure pills with caffeine pills, Elaine’s exhausted and jittery as the week goes on. He continues to give her pills, which she thinks is her medication, and Elaine grows more and more unwell.
Realising how close he is to losing the factory, Stephen steps up his plan and laces Elaine’s tea. As she is overcome with dizziness, Elaine stumbles and hits her head and is left lifeless on the ground.
Stephen returns and finds her, but cruelly backs out of the house and leaves her for dead. Elaine is eventually found and son Tim wants answers, confronting Stephen about what happened - but will his crime be exposed, and will Elaine survive?
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and ITV X.
