Coronation Street will see dramatic scenes unfold between Fiz Stape and her new boyfriend Phill Whittaker as well as Tyrone Dobbs next week.
This comes after the ITV soap has hinted that Fiz’s new man Phill, played by Jamie McKenna, may not be all he seems.
Fiz, played by Jennie McAlpine, recently moved away from the cobbles and has been loved up with Phill, hoping for a fresh start after her messy split from Tyrone Dobbs.
But this week on the soap will see Tyrone become suspicious of Phill after spending time with Hope and Ruby.
He spots Phill behaving suspiciously in Victoria Garden, handing a large envelope over to a mystery man - despite having told Fiz that he would be in Leeds for the day.
The drama continues next week, when ITV spoilers have revealed that Tyrone is still suspicious of Phill and what he is up to and when Fiz’s daughter Hope borrows Phill’s laptop, she is the one who uncovers the truth about what he’s doing.
In true Hope style, she takes her own brand of revenge and lets the mini-digger rip on the driveway, swinging the digger’s arm swings round and smashing the windscreen on Phill’s car.
While the ITV spoilers have not yet revealed Fiz’s reaction to the drama, by Wednesday she is trying to move out with Phill, suggesting the secret is laid bare before her.
The storyline picks up on May 25, when Tyrone calls at Phill’s house to collect Fiz’s things, hoping this now means they’ll be reunited.
However a row ensues and as Tyrone makes a grab for Phill, they lose their balance and fall headlong into the wet cement on the patio.
As Phill scours the wet concrete, he reveals that he’s lost an engagement ring - and Tyrone finds the ring.
Phill pulls out the ring and asks Fiz to marry him. As Tyrone waits in the wings, will Fiz give Phill another chance or have her eyes been opened?
Speaking at the start of this year, Corrie's producer Iain MacLeod teased: "We're giving the audience cause to question Phill's motives at times. I won't spoil the outcome of all that, but Fiz will end up in a huge dilemma about where her future lies.
"I think I know what Fiz's happy ending looks like, but it's going to be a long, brilliant and complicated story for both of them.
"Once you've been hurt and humiliated like Fiz has, even if you find yourself wanting your ex back, is it that straightforward? Will pride, and your family, let you?"
