Coronation Street star Sally Carman was inundated with well wishes from her supportive fans after she took to Instagram over the weekend to share that she had been in 'denial' about feeling unwell.
The actress, 41, who plays Abi Webster on the cobbles, appeared to be living her best life as she posed in a red ruffled bikini on Friday while lapping up the good weather in her very own hot tub.
The blonde beauty posed up a storm as she snapped herself having a soak in the hot tub while protecting herself from the sun's rays in a straw hat and some oversized shades.
Alongside the snap, Sally penned: "A sunny Friday evening to myself? It’s got hot tub written all over it."
However, two days later, Sally admitted she was in denial about how unwell she felt as she admitted that she was suffering with the worst flu of her life.
Sharing a photo of herself leaning against the bar, she penned: "Me yesterday in denial about the horrible cold I’m now full of."
And it wasn't long before her followers rushed to send her well wishes.
"Get well soon. There's nothing worse than feeling like rubbish when good weather strikes," one fan commented.
"You may feel bad but you look stunning," another echoed.
"Oh no, hope you feel better soon," someone else wrote.
Meanwhile, a fourth replied: "You don't look sick to me. You look gorgeous as always."
It comes after Sally posted a gushing tribute to her co-star fiancé Joe Duttine, who plays Tim Metcalfe on the ITV soap.
The actress gushed over her husband-to-be and her own dad in the sweet Father's Day post as she shared snaps of Joe and her father enjoying some quality time together.
Sally, lovingly captioned the shot: "Happy Father’s Day to these two legends. How lucky am I to strike gold twice?"
Carmen joined Corrie in October 2017, as Abi Franklin - the drug-addicted mother of established teenage character, Seb Franklin.
