Coronation Street star Kel Allen has shared a brief taster into her return to the cobbles.
Kel, who first appeared in Corrie in 2020 as the estranged wife of loan shark Rick Neelan and mother of Kelly, hasn't been seen on the soap for months.
She last appeared in the Bistro back in November when Imran Habeeb got her there to find out if she had seen his former foster daughter after Kelly said she was staying with her mum.
Kel confirmed on Twitter just before Christmas that Corrie viewers will be seeing more of her in the New Year.

And she delighted fans as she posed for a selfie on the cobbles with teen Millie Gibson - who plays on-screen daughter Kelly.
Kel took to Instagram to share a glimpse at her piles of scripts, just before her return storyline was confirmed.
"Just a light spot of Sunday evening script reading... she says!", the soap star shared alongside the photo showing the piles of paper that had been covered in post-it notes.
Next week, Corrie viewers will see Kelly delighted when Stu invites her, Gary Wand Maria Windass for a complimentary meal at Speed Daal.
The pair struck up an unlikely friendship when Kelly ended up on the streets when she was cleared of the murder of Seb Franklin and released from prison.
As Kelly enjoys Stu’s cooking in Speed Daal, they are all stunned when Laura arrives and interrupts the meal.
But not only does she interrupt, but she also announces that she’s dying.
Laura is left wounded by Kelly’s disbelieving reaction to the news that she has stomach cancer and only has months to live.
But Kelly later admits to Gary that Laura looked ill enough to be telling the truth, but he reminds her that Laura’s still been a terrible mother and Kelly owes her nothing.
