Coronation Street viewers were left in shock after Toyah Battersby was left unconscious after she ploughed her car into a wall.
But while Toyah fights for her life following the horror crash, actor Georgia Taylor couldn't be living a more different life.
The 42-year old, who has played Toyah on and off since 1997, is currently on holiday with her long-term partner.
Georgia and Mark Letheren, who starred as journalist Simon Kitson in The Bill and counsellor Ben Harding in Casualty, soaked the sun and explored Madeira together.
In one of the photos, she smiled and threw her arm around Mark's shoulder as he kissed her on the cheek.
Mark, an amateur photographer, sat beside Georgia with his camera in between them.
She recently shared a photo of her her new hair do as she got herself "holiday ready" ahead of the trip.
Earlier this month Georgia appeared on ITV's Lorraine, where she had to correct the presenter about her marriage status.
Lorraine remarked: "We saw you in Law and Order, we saw you in Blackpool, and of course we saw you in Casualty, so many other things that you did.
"I mean it’s great to have you back and I love the fact that in Casualty, you know you always make friends on set, that’s where you met your husband, which is rather lovely. The two of you being in sort of the same job, it’s really nice that."
Georgia corrected Lorraine: "Yeah, we’re actually not married but we practically are because we’ve been together so long."
Lorraine quickly apologised, saying: "Oh I’m so sorry! I keep doing this!"
"That’s okay," Georgia said before she told Lorraine about how she met Mark.
"We met, he was a sort of semi-regular character, he was playing a councillor ironically, which is then what Toyah ended up doing. We met, gosh 13 years ago. So yeah, got him out of the job and lots of friends and it was a really good time."
Over the years Georgia has been involved in some pretty huge storylines with the soap.
But this week saw her and her new husband Imran Habeeb unconscious in the car after an unscreened crash.
