Since joining the cast of Coronation Street in 2014, Dolly-Rose Campbell has become one of the nation's most recognisable soap stars.
Initially only signed on for a temporary role on the ITV soap, the actress is now a regular face on the cobbles as Gemma Winter - raising quadruplets alongside long-running character Chesney Brown.
Thanks to her on-screen character's hard-hitting storylines - transforming from a former criminal to doting mother - Dolly-Rose has been praised frequently for her portrayal of the loudmouth barmaid.
The 34-year-old actress has twice been crowned funniest female in the soap world for her performance on the ITV soap - collecting two honours during the 2017 award season.
Away from the fictional town Weatherfield, Dolly-Rose rocks a more pared-back and understated image than her on-screen alter-ego.
Gemma is often filmed wearing bright make-up with pink lipstick and blue eyeshadow, while her bleached blonde hair often teased into playful styles, either in buns, bunches, or a high ponytail.
The Rovers Return barmaid then completes her iconic look with big hoop earrings.
Off-camera, Dolly-Rose prefers to adopt a more natural look - often wearing her curls loose and sporting minimal makeup.
For the 2019 Diva Awards, the soap star shunned gowns and glitzy dresses for the star-studded event - instead donning a chic black suit and low-cut lace bodice.
In the very same year, Dolly-Rose revealed she was bisexual and explained how Manchester Pride had helped her come out publicly.
Speaking to The Daily Star, she said: "I have been coming to pride for over a decade now. The love and acceptance shown by the people of Manchester allowed me to accept my bisexuality and be proud of who I am."
The actress then praised Manchester Pride, saying: "The work that Manchester Pride does throughout the year to engage with and create opportunities for people in Manchester’s LGBTQ+ community and beyond makes a huge difference to so many people’s lives."
Dolly-Rose went on to state how she wants to focus on helping others come to terms with their sexuality in her role as ambassador for the annual LGBTQ+ event. In her own life, she has been supported by her nearest and dearest with her sexuality, according to the Daily Star.
"I have always been supported by my friends and family – for people who are struggling, I would always say people who mind don't matter, people who matter don't mind," the Corrie star added in her candid conversation with the publication.
Speaking about her role in an advert for Manchester Pride that year, the actress told the Manchester Evening News : “It was an honour to do the voiceover for this video.
“Manchester Pride is one of my favourite times of the year in Manchester. It is a time when everyone comes together to show that love and kindness will always triumph over hate and prejudice.”
