Catherine Tyldesley has announced the birth of her baby girl. The former Coronation Street shared the news on Instagram on Thursday (April 21) alongside an adorable first photo.

The actress, best known for playing Eva Price in the ITV soap from 2011 to 2018, announced the joyous news that she was expecting her second child with husband Tom Pitfield back in October.

Cath said at the time that the couple, who also share seven-year-old son Alfie, were 'utterly blessed' by the news of their impending arrival and that it was "tough" keeping the happy news a secret.
