Coronation Street actress Arianna Ajtar and Love Island's Mollie Salmon filmed a video on two £1.5million luxury yachts in sunny Majorca. The actress turned fashion designer and the Love Island star were on the Mediterranean island to celebrate the launch of a new venture and film a promotional video for a British tech company.
Arianna, 26, - who played model Olivia Radfield in Corrie in 2018 and 2019, announced last month a collaboration between her fashion brand Mars The Label and British firm WeShop - the world’s first shopping platform which rewards shares in the company for every purchase.
Arianna was photographed on board one of two state-of-the-art Frauscher yachts at a cove called Cala Fornells near Palma in Majorca along with Love Island star Mollie and other influencers as they partied on the boats after the shoot for WeShop.
The group celebrated on the two £1.5million 46 ft Demon Air boats in the onboard lounge, deck, bathing area and bar. Arianna and Mollie were even given the chance to drive the Frauscher boats.
After filming the video the party were seen drinking champagne and dancing on the deck as they enjoyed the sunny weather while the UK faced rain and floods.
Mars The Label, is known for its unique designs hugely popular with celebrities around the world including their signature Fishtail swimsuit, made famous by Love Island star Mary Bedford who wore the item for her Love Island debut.
Arianna said: “Myself and the team at Mars The Label are so excited to be working with WeShop - Weshop is allowing my followers and customer to earn shares in the next instagram. I want all my friends, clients, colleagues and followers to become shareholders in WeShop by doing their existing shopping through the platform. From my first story on Instagram the response has been phenomenal and that’s before I start posting exclusive content on the platform and formally launch my profile page. Mars continues to grow quicker than I ever imagined or dreamed and I can’t thank everyone enough who have supported me on the journey. The collab with WeShop represents the start of a new chapter where I can now give my customers even more than the actual products but also shares in what could be the next Instagram.”
Chairman of WeShop Richard Griffiths said: “The collaboration with Arianna is a demonstration of what is possible for brands, influencers and shoppers. Mars the Label has onboarded to WeShop and Arianna will be revealing certain designs exclusive to WeShop just before the event as well as posting exclusive content. Every single one of Mars the Labels clients can now become shareholders in WeShop by buying their MTL items through WeShop. It’s that simple and also they will earn shares on everything else they buy via WeShop from a choice of 1.2bn products via all the major retailers. In addition to Mars the Label we are delighted to have Arianna as one of our founder influencers and thousands of her followers have already joined the WeShop community.”
WeShop has pledged to hand over 90 per cent of the company to its users. Initially for every purchase, 20 per cent of the price is given back to you in shares in WeShop.
This means that if you were thinking of buying a pair of £100 trainers from Amazon you can buy the same £100 trainers through WeShop from one of the hundreds of established retailers on the platform, except you will be rewarded with £20 worth of shares in the company. Simply download the app on iOS or Android and use “Weshopsocial” as the referral code to get in and start shopping.
In addition to purchasing, with WeShop you can also monetise the power of recommendations. Whenever anyone buys anything you have recommended on WeShop you receive 10% of the value of the product in shares. And when a WeShopper introduces a new user then the WeShopper will also get 1% of the value the new user spends on the platform.
