Coronation Street's Alexandra Mardell "ugly cried" after filming her final scenes on the ITV soap.
Alexandra - who plays Emma Brooker - is departing the show soon after four years in her role, and she admits it was very emotional filming her very last scenes on the programme.
Taking to social media, Alexandra confirmed she had filmed her final scenes as Emma as she thanked the cast and crew for making her time on the programme the "best time of her life".
Thanking the show's viewers, her family members and friends, she posted a snap of the infamous Corrie sign.
She wrote on Instagram : "And that’s a wrap on the best street there is! And of course I ugly cried as soon as the scene completed. So overwhelmed by all the love. The Corrie family are just insane.
"To every person in that building, every viewer, family member and friend, I love you all and can’t thank you enough! I’ve said it countless times before but I’ll say it again, it’s been the best time of my life."
She added: "But for now it’s goodbye to the cobbles from me and Emma Brooker."
Her Corrie co-stars took to the comment to leave sweet messages for the actress amid her exit.
"We will miss you loads Ali! You little star xx," Samia Longchambon - who plays Maria - wrote, whilst Andy Whyment, who stars as Kirk, added: "Gonna miss you Ali but good luck I’m sure you’re gonna smash it xx."
Sally Ann Matthews, who plays Jenny Connor, wrote: "Love this and you but don’t understand why you haven’t posted my pictures," whilst Sam Retford, who played her ex-lover Curtis, shared: "So glad to have shared a little of your journey, excited to see what's next."
Kate Ford (Tracy Barlow), Elle Mulvaney (Amy Barlow) and Georgia Taylor (Toyah Battersby) all left hearts on her post, whilst Ruxandra Porojnicu - who played Tyrone Dobbs' love interest Alina Pop on the ITV soap - also sent her well wishes.
"Welcome to the other sideeeeee!! Haha You’ll be Magnificent, and I can’t wait to see you!" she shared.
Alexandra had previously described playing Emma as "the best experience of her life".
