Corrie 'return', Emmerdale murder fallout and EastEnders 'exit' - this week on soaps

Emmerdale, EastEnders and Coronation Street fans should prepare for big scenes next week.

There is the fallout to a shocking murder in the Dales, as the village is torn apart - just weeks after a deadly storm caused chaos.

Over in Walford, EastEnders airs a shock arrest following the discovery of a body - but will the right culprit finally face justice?

Corrie lines up worrying scenes too, as a past killer makes a return, of sorts, turning lives upside down.

Here is everything soap fans can expect from scenes on all three shows next week, as new storylines begin...

Coronation Street airs worrying times ahead for Hope Stape and her family next week on the ITV soap (ITV)

Corrie's John Stape 'returns'

Coronation Street airs worrying times ahead for Hope Stape and her family next week on the ITV soap.

The youngster has been caught up in drama surrounding her late father John Stape yet again, with a book about the killer set to be published.

After it emerges that Hope was unintentionally involved in the sharing of information about her dad and his crimes to a journalist, her mum Fiz Brown and stepfather Tyrone Dobbs are mortified by a discovery.

They learn the journalist plans to go ahead with publishing the book, despite their fears of how it will impact Hope.

Tyrone sets out to find every book and buy them so that no one else can.

He also takes the large cutout of John from the shop and hides it in the garden so that no one, including Hope, sees it.

But it's not enough, and as Hope kicks open the door of the outhouse she comes across all the books and the cutout - but how will she react?

Emmerdale murder fallout as real killer exposed

The village continues to reel from the brutal murder of Al Chapman, and Cain Dingle's arrest (ITV)

The village continues to reel from the brutal murder of Al Chapman, and Cain Dingle's arrest for the crime.

Of course fans now know that it was Cain's young son Kyle who killed Al, not Cain, and his dad is covering him.

Few spoilers have been revealed about what happens next and whether Cain will leave the show for good - while we also don't know why Kyle shot Al.

What is known is that the Dingles will no doubt face turmoil as Cain faces a lengthy stint behind bars, while Al's loved ones will struggle with what's happened.

Moira, Cain's wife, knows the truth - so will she tell anyone else, and will she confront Kyle?

EastEnders arrest

EastEnders airs fresh drama for the Panesars next week (BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron)

EastEnders airs fresh drama for the Panesars next week, as Suki Panesar finds herself under arrest for murder.

Upcoming scenes will see the Panesars react to the news a body has been found, and that it's believed to be Ranveer Gulati.

Not only that, but the police are suspecting his death was murder, and Suki and Ravi Gulati are both questioned by them.

Suki has no idea that Ravi and his secret lover Nina, the widow of Ranveer, are out to get her, trying to frame her for Ranveer's death in their bid to steal his money.

Towards the end of next week, Kheerat sees red as shocking revelations come to light for the family.

Soon, Kheerat goes to drastic lengths to save his mum from a life behind bars, but will it be enough?

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
