Gemma Winter is getting ready to marry Chesney Brown but their wedding may not run as smoothly as they hoped with Coronation Street confirming the return of a relative.
In upcoming scenes, Gemma ( Dolly-Rose Campbell ) finds a dress she really likes in a charity shop and plans to make some alterations to turn into her dream wedding gown.
She asks Izzy (Cherylee Houston) if she can make the alterations for her in the factory and she agrees, but talking to her gives Gemma an idea for the wedding guest list.
The mum-of-four suggests to Chesney (Sam Aston) they should invite Izzy's mum Linda (Jacqueline Leonard), who currently lives in Portugal, to the wedding.
Linda is the mum to both Izzy and her late sister Katy, who was the mother of Chesney's son Joseph (William Flanagan).
However, her appearance in Weather usually spell trouble and the couple's nuptials may be at risk of descending into chaos.
When the grandmother arrived last time, Chesney and Gemma were struggling financially but her meddling led to Joseph going missing.
He subsequently returned home but reluctantly agreed to return with his grandmother to Portugal as he worried he was too great a financial burden on his father and soon-to-be step-mother.
In the end, Chesney and Gemma convinced Joseph they wanted him to stay and Linda returned to Portugal on her own.
The actress has been pictured filming Coronation Street scenes in wedding guest attire alongside Sam Aston, Jimmi Harkishin, who plays Dev Alahan, and mother-of-the-bride Bernie star Jane Hazlegrove.
Meanwhile, Coronation Street was treated to a visit by the This Morning team on Friday in honour of King Charles' upcoming Coronation.
