Coronation Street killer Stephen Reid has already begun to cover his tracks on the ITV soap, after killing Leo Thompkins earlier this week.
Leo died a violent death during a showdown with Stephen on the factory gantry, with Stephen whacking his head against a barrier before chucking him over to the ground below.
The victim landed in a bin and was killed instantly, with Stephen forced to dispose of the body.
Since then, he has stolen and burned Leo's passport and suitcase to make it seem as though he fled to Canada without his partner Jenny Connor.
Jenny and others believe Leo had second thoughts about their big move, following her kiss with Stephen recently.
What they don't know is that Leo is dead thanks to Stephen, and he never actually made it out of the country.
On Friday night, his worried father came looking for Leo after not hearing from him before he left, or after he was meant to have arrived.
Heading to the pub he was stunned to find Jenny there, and immediately accused her of being behind Leo going AWOL.
Jenny explained the circumstances of Leo's vanishing act, and his dad soon turned on her claiming he's gone missing because of her betrayal.
Unable to reach his son, he slammed Jenny for upsetting Leo - only for Stephen to step in and take the blame for the kiss.
He then told Teddy a sickening lie to cover his actions, knowing full well he had killed his son.
Stephen told him that Leo would be in touch with him once he'd settled in Canada, suggesting that was where he was.
Not only that, Stephen gave him false hope knowing full well Leo would not be in contact as he is dead.
Stephen was then seen trying to get into Leo's phone and ignored an incoming call - with it seeming he is trying to make it look as though Leo is still alive.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
