Coronation Street fans are sure they've rumbled who will be Stephen Reid's next victim in a double murder twist.
The serial killer has already seen to the end of Teddy Thompkins and his son Leo Thompkins as well as his business partner Rufus, and it looks like he has set his mind on who is next on his list after a telling scene on the ITV soap tonight.
Stephen and Michael have been leading the factory's charge to get a new customer and it seemed like things were going well tonight, as the owners came to visit them at the factory and inspect their products.
Thrilled by the result of their business meeting, Stephen was soon interrupted by two young boys who wanted to speak to him.
They told him they had sent the letter, insisting they knew about what happened to Rufus and wanted £10,000 from him to make it all go away or they'd end up going to the police to tell them what they know.
He later agreed to give them £10,000 and asked them to get into his car so he could give them the money out of view, before he started the engine and drove away, leaving both of the boys very puzzled.
He drove them to the police station, telling them they could report him if they wanted, but knowing they had much more to lose and that it would be unlikely they'd be believed, he knew they wouldn't go through with it.
Stephen then threatened them and told them to scarper, which they soon did.
However, some fans are convinced the pair could end up being Stephen's next victims, since they really do know the truth about Rufus, which is certainly something that the serial killer can't afford getting out.
One fan wrote on Twitter: "#Corrie another two heading for the canal," as a second added: "I'm guessing Stephens new car is an estate so he can dispose of two bodies in one go #Corrie."
"Stephen is thinking of his next victims he can kill by Wheelie bin. I think he's found them #Corrie," a third shared.
Actor Todd Boyce previously teased more murders were on the way as the serial killer makes his mark.
Speaking recently to The Mirror and Rufus' murder and what could happen next, the actor teased: "And after that I think there could be more. He has a taste for it now and I think he figures that if he gets caught for three, he might as well get caught for four or five. It would be great to go down in the record books as the show’s biggest serial killer. What a thing to be known for."
