Coronation Street fans are 'dreading' tonight's episode (Monday, March 27) as bride Daisy Midgeley is targeted on her wedding day by stalker Justin Rutherford. When Daisy prepares to say "I do" to Daniel Osbourne, with Ryan Connor stepping in as her chauffeur, her world is turned upside down by a horrific acid attack.
As Daisy and Ryan close up the Rovers Return before her nuptials, which she already believes to be 'cursed' after a series of errors, Justin steps out of the shadows. Holding a glass of clear liquid he hurls it in Daisy's direction.
A teaser clip shared by the ITV soap on social media shows Daisy emerging in her gorgeous wedding gown, looking a million dollars. Realising that someone is still in the pub as they lock up, Ryan says: "Hi mate. Time to drink up we've got a wedding to get to."

The clip left fans worried and making predictions about what's to come. @djmcg24 speculated: "I reckon it won’t be Daisy getting the acid, someone will jump in front of her. Ryan?" And @DanielJenks89 said: "I guess a lot of people are feeling nervous about watching this episode. Whoever gets attacked it will be harrowing, but at the same time it will raise awareness."
