Coronation Street fans have been left puzzled by a hospital error on the ITV soap as Abi welcomed her baby.
Abi has been struggling with the early surprise arrival of her son, as she grapples with the difficult news amid her own drug relapse. She was dealt with some terrible news last week when she found out baby Alfie was sick and needed an urgent operation.
However, Abi has promised to stick by her son - and in emotional scenes at the end of Friday's episode, Abi revealed why she had chosen the name Alfie for her little boy after the death of her son Seb.
Vowing to fight for the baby, she revealed she was going to call him Alfie. "I was thinking maybe Alfie. You see, it was the name of Seb's favourite teddy when he was little," she said of the significance.
However, fans of the soap were distracted from the sweet moment by Aggie's appearance on the programme, and they took to Twitter to vent over the 'error' - insisting Aggie was everywhere at the hospital, leaving them confused where she actually worked.
"Aggie who works in every department of the hospital," one person wrote, whilst a second added: "How does Aggie get EVERYWHERE in that hospital ? One min A and E, then paediatric ward and now NICU."
"Why is Aggie’s nose in everyone’s business? First it was Tim and now Abi, she’s only a nurse in the hospital and other departments have nothing to do with her," a third shared, with a fourth writing: "How come Aggie is always in every department in the hospital?"
Aggie also helped Tim with his secret health battle - with Sally even thinking the pair were having an affair because of the secrecy and she's also been seen in the accident and emergency area as well as the paediatric ward.
Another remarked that Aggie was following in the same footsteps as police officer Craig Tinker, who also appeared multiple times at different crime scenes during his work with the cops.
"Only Nurse Aggie taking over from former only Copper Craig," a fan of the show joked online.
Corrie's Sally Carman - who plays Abi - recently explained why her character is struggling so much in the wake of the baby's arrival.
"She’s completely wrecked the start of his life in her head, and she has nothing offer to him. She’s already messed him up, he was born too soon probably because of the drugs, that is what she thinks," she told The Mirror, "She has no home anymore, no relationship, no prospects, no job, what could she possibly do for this child other than give him a chance by giving him up."
