Married Sarah Barlow has ended up in a web of lies after finding chemistry with drug dealer Damon Hay who has been making life a misery for her own brother on Coronation Street. The pair previously met weeks ago in a hotel bar, and she had no idea at first that he was the low-life who had been blackmailing Nick Tilsley into letting him run a drugs operation from his bistro.
But Sarah, played by Tina O’Brien, and Damon, played by Ciaran Griffiths, have continued to flirt wildly with Damon saying he was determined to bed her. In Easter Monday's episode with her car blocked in, her husband Adam working and unavailable, Damon seized his opportunuty and gave Underworld factory manager Sarah a lift to the hotel for her meeting.
When the buyer made disparaging remarks about the designs, Damon sauntered over pretending to be a music mogul impressed by the designs. He handed Sarah his card with his room number written on the back.

Despite winning the buyer over, Sarah was still angry with Damon and headed to the room where she tore a strip off him for interfering. But after drinking champagne together she threw caution to the wind and they slept together.
The situation is even more complicated as her solicitor husband is acting on his behalf after he was arrested for possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. After Damon and Sarah agreed to end their relationship there, because he looks set to go to prison, there was a twist as Adam and collague Dee-Dee Bailey had found a way to keep him from behind bars.
Corrie viewers are now certain that there will be a 'who's the daddy?' plot ahead on the ITV soap with mum-of-two Sarah falling pregnant. @MisTintehotbabe tweeted: "Sarah will fall pregnant it will be Damon’s but she will say it’s Adam’s Damon finds out the baby is his Adam will start to wonder why Sarah and Damon are always acting weird with each other that how Adam will find out about them two and the baby."
Lyndsey Fitzpatrick said: "Give it a few weeks & Sarah will find out she pregnant!!" @JalehLShoghi wrote: "And Sarah ends up pregnant and doesn’t know who the father is." And @blue_laur11 predicted: "Of course Sarah will get pregnant now and we’ll have the whole hooha about who’s the daddy when we clearly know."
Other soap watchers are wondering why Sarah is bothering with Damon after she went through a nightmarish time with another drug dealer Callum Logan. Sarah striking up a romance with Callum was part of his campaign of terror against the Platt family which ended when his ex Kylie Platt killed him as he was attacking his girlfriend. He ended up buried under Gail's granny flat at 8 Coronation Street in 2015 where his body lay for almost a year.
