Alison's character is at the centre of a gripping Corrie storyline which has seen Carla placed in serious danger at the hands of killer Stephen Reid. She has been spiked with LSD as part of a twisted plot to oust Carla from her business.
Stephen put the hallucinogenic drug in her tea to make her nearest and dearest and employees at the factory think her past mental health troubles have returned. Carla suffered a breakdown three years ago after being framed from the death of Rana Habeeb when the factory collapse.
