Coronation Street fans played detective as they tuned into the Weatherfield soap on Wednesday night (January 25). Corrie viewers put their thinking caps on as Evelyn Plummer suspected her grandson Tyrone of playing away again in comical scenes.
Evelyn thought Tyrone was cheating on his new wife Fiz, after they previously split over his affair with lodger Alina Pop, when she saw him suited and booted, climbing into a car. And she was worried after he hadn't kissed Fiz goodbye when she said she was off to stay with her mum.
She told her friend Roy Cropper to "fire up the Woody" and head after him in Roy's car as she needed to put a stop to his caper. Having followed Tyrone to a hotel bar, Evelyn and Roy watched as a glamorous blonde lady parked herself at Tyrone’s table and he squeezed her thigh.
