Coronation Street fans are concerned that there could be a new serial killer on the cobbles.
Wednesday night's double helping of the ITV soap saw Adam Barlow and Sarah Platt become increasingly concerned for their safety as a bunch of flowers accompanied by a threatening message were delivered.
Adam (Sam Robertson) was also getting phone calls from a mystery person just days after his car was vandalised in the street.
At the end of the second episode, it was confirmed that Lydia Chambers (Rebecca Ryan) is the person who has been calling Adam - and staying silent.
The newcomer was seen sat in her car whilst it rained heavily as she listened to the line ringing as Adam refused to pick up.
As soap fans finally had their suspicions confirmed, they rushed to Twitter to comment - and they were all saying the same thing.
"Is Lydia going to be the next Meena #Corrie," one person asked.
Another viewer tweeted: "Meena round 2 it is then #Corrie," while a third said: "Mad Meena. Looney Lydia. #Corrie."
Someone else posted: "LYDIA PULLING A MEENA?!:&/‘ #Corrie."
And another viewer added: "A psycho young woman in # Emmerdale, a psycho young woman storyline just ended in #HomeAndAway, and now a psycho young woman confirmed in #Corrie. I'm seeing a theme."
Others were quick to brand Lydia a "bunny boiler" as some even predicted that Adam could be the biological father to her son after it was revealed that dated one another years ago.
However, as far as viewers know, Lydia hasn't actually murdered anyone - but the same can't be said for evil Meena Jutla, who is played by Paige Sandhu.
The unhinged nurse has murdered several residents over the past few months and is currently on the run after confessing all to her sister Manpreet.
However, the storyline could be about to come to an end as next week Meena will gatecrash Dawn Taylor and Billy Fletcher's wedding as she returns to the village.
ITV spoilers confirm that Meena will pull a gun on Billy and Dawn, and that he is left horrified when she tells him about the little game they are about to play where he gets to either save himself or Dawn.
Meena threatens to kill them both if Billy doesn’t decide as he tells Dawn that he would always take a bullet for her.
Meena points the gun and fires, leaving someone injured, but it's unsure just who it will be and whether or not they will survive.
Will Coronation Street suffer the same amount of tragedy as Emmerdale? Or will Adam find out who it is just in time to put a stop to Lydia's disturbing behaviour?
