Tracy Barlow is never one to shy away from drama and she caused a ruckus on Monday night's Coronation Street as she plastered posters across the street after Aaron Sandford raped her daughter Amy. Tracy demanded action after feeling Amy's report of rape wasn't taken seriously by police.
Amy and her dad Steve McDonald worried that Tracy had put flyers up about Aaron everywhere, but Tracy assured her that no-one would know it’s her. But when Mary Taylor found a flyer on the florist printer, Aaron's boss and Tracy's friend Abi Webster realised who the poster was about and confronted him.
The rapist lied and denied everything and some viewers thought a nervous and rattled Aaron appeared to be 'smiling.' Others complained that the character was acting 'smug' as Amy was in despair over being preyed on by her former friend and flatmate.

One soap watcher @spidersam616 tweeted: "Tell me why did I think he was smiling at him being exposed as a rapist?" And @fussyMcWhiskers also noticed: "#Corrie Why is Aaron smiling when he read Tracy's poster?"
@ElaineWharton1 fumed: "Aaron looking very smug in this episode!" @RyanTheSoapking said: "Aaron really needs to wipe that smirk off his face." And @TJScaverton complained: "Aaron has gone very smug."
Some fans have now predicted what they think might happen next. @penniless_poet asked: "Is Abi going to team up with our Trace and go a-hunting Aaron?" And @RyanTheSoapking said: "I'm fully here for Abi bringing down Aaron."
@DavidBoink asked: "Aaron will end up in boot of Peter's car like Billy the Vicar?" And @fansvfavourites gasped: "Omg when are Abi and Tracy gonna team up to kill aaron?"
Aaron told Abi: "She'd rather throw me under the bus than admit she'd slept with hrr best mate's boyfriend." @_TS_13 tweeted about the scene: "Aaron playing the victim has me at my breaking point" and @teenamassam said: "Aaron really is a lowlife."
Later a distraught Amy was in tears after lying and telling her parents that she thinks she got it wrong and it wasn't rape. "I think I got it wrong. Maybe I got it wrong, overreacted," she said. "Now I've realsed I don't feel so bad. I can cope."
