Coronation Street spoilers have teased the fallout to a horrifying showdown between Jacob Hay and his evil father Damon, after a sinister threat.
It seems Jacob's fate is unknown but he has seemingly run away, after his dad threatened him to leave for good.
That said, there's fears for his safety next week as Nick Tilsley knows exactly what has been going on, as Jacob has told him about Damon's threats.
With him disappearing, next week Nick is concerned as he keeps it all to himself - but has Damon harmed his son?
It follows Jacob being pulled back into his dad's criminal world, leading to a near run-in with the police and Jacob being attacked.
Damon rocked up recently, claiming he wanted to be a part of his life again - four years after abandoning him.
Viewers have seen Damon already begin to meddle across the street with his dodgy ways seeping through, and in upcoming scenes he is finally exposed.
Damon recently told Nick the money villain Harvey gave him for The Bistro actually belonged to him, and fans have started to see him suggest to Nick he needs to watch out.
He's already using the favour to his advantage, with him landing Jacob a job there and this will continue as he uses The Bistro for his dodgy dealings.
In scenes to air this week, viewers will see Jacob learn there are drugs being delivered to the restaurant - with Jacob forced to retrieve them.
After an incident involving the police, Friday's episode sees Damon giving Jacob a beating in the ginnel over what has happened as he shows his true colours.
After attacking him, Damon tells him that if he wants to protect Amy, he needs to disappear for good. Soon enough Jacob makes himself look guilty in front of Amy, so that he can leave her with no questions asked.
Spoilers for next week add a worrying update though, as Jacob has seemingly dumped Amy and fled - while Nick knows exactly what happened to Jacob prior to this.
As Damon acts clueless, Nick has to hide the truth for his own safety as he secrets worries that Damon has got to Jacob and that he could be in danger.
Amy reveals that Jacob has gone and they broke up because he’s drug dealing again, and this leaves Nick's partner Leanne furious given she unwillingly gave him a chance at The Bistro.
But will Nick come forward and explain what has really happened and drop Damon in it? Or has Damon ruined his son's life all over again?
