In a Feb. 16 story about convoy protests in Ottawa, The Canadian Press incorrectly reported that Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino tabled two motions Wednesday evening in the House of Commons: one on invoking the Emergencies Act and another on specific powers in the act. In fact, he tabled one motion on invoking the act as well as reports explaining the reasons for invoking it and detailing consultations with premiers.
