A coroner is to decide if an inquest needs to be held into the death of a mum 'brutally' murdered by her estranged husband. Tamara Padi, 43, was stabbed to death by Aubrey Pule Padi at her home on Lake Road in Stalybridge on July 7, 2021.
A crown court heard how Padi, now 47, who had separated from Tamara in February of that year after 14 years, had let himself into her house and hid.
He then 'lay in wait' even setting an alarm on his phone to ensure she was asleep when he launched the 'planned and carefully executed attack' as one of their two young children slept in the next bedroom.
