As per the preliminary scientific evidence submitted by the Christian Medical College, Vellore, to the Drugs Controller General of India on Wednesday, the Indian Express reports, administering COVISHIELD after two doses of COVAXIN boosts immunity by 6 times.
The preliminary results show that if COVISHIELD is given as a precaution dose for those who have taken two doses of COVAXIN it would increase the level of antibodies by six times. However, the study did not give an impressive data on using COVAXIN as a precaution after two doses of COVISHIELD.
