Coronavirus infection rates have fallen by over 25 per cent across Greater Manchester, new figures have revealed.
Rates are continuing to drop across all ten boroughs, which also all have rates lower than the national average.
Stockport continues to have the highest coronavirus infection rate in Greater Manchester, with 771.6 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending February 2.
The lowest infection rate is in Oldham, where the rate is 516.4 cases per 100,000 people.

In Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 629.3 cases per 100,000 population.
The infection rate in the region is lower than the national average, which is 938.6 cases per 100,000 people.
A total of 17,846 people tested positive for coronavirus across Greater Manchester in the week which ended on February 2.
The Greater Manchester weekly total has decreased by 6210 cases compared to the previous week, which means the infection rate was down 26 per cent in the last week.
Hospital admissions
In the week ending on January 30, a total of 595 patients were admitted to Greater Manchester NHS hospitals with Covid-19. That is 81 fewer than the week before, a fall of 16 per cent.
On Tuesday February 01, there were 30 Mechanical Ventilation (MV) beds occupied by Covid patients in Greater Manchester NHS hospitals. That is one fewer than a week earlier.
Deaths
In the week ending February 2, a total of 91 people died within 28 days of a positive Covid test across Greater Manchester, which is 9 fewer than the week before.
Since the start of the pandemic, there have been a total of 874,307 confirmed coronavirus cases in Greater Manchester. There has been a total of 8,619 deaths.
Cases reported in each of the ten boroughs
Tameside
There were 1532 positive tests over the last week in Tameside, which is 737 fewer than in the previous week.
The week-on-week trend in Tameside is down by 32 per cent and the latest infection rate is 674.5 cases per 100,000 people.
Manchester
Manchester is an area where the trend is down. The latest infection rate here is 570.9 cases per 100,000 people.
There were 3173 cases recorded in Manchester, which is 1316 fewer than the previous week - a fall of 29 per cent.
Salford
There was a fall of 20 per cent in cases in Salford over the week ending February 2, and the infection rate is now 624.7 cases per 100,000 population.
Salford recorded 1641 positive Covid-19 tests over the seven-day period, and that is 408 fewer than the previous week.
Wigan
Wigan recorded 2125 coronavirus cases, which is 660 fewer than in the previous seven days.
The latest infection rate in Wigan is 642.6 cases per 100,000 people and that is down 24 per cent week-on-week.
Rochdale
In Rochdale, the number of cases is down by 30 per cent compared to the previous week - leaving the infection rate at 574.5 cases per 100,000 population.
There were 1285 positive Covid-19 tests in Rochdale in the week ending February 2, which was 543 fewer than the previous 7 days.
Oldham
Oldham, which has the lowest infection rate in the region, recorded 1227 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending February 2, which is 633 fewer than the previous 7 days.
The coronavirus infection rate in Oldham is now 516.4 cases per 100,000 people and is down by 34 per cent week-on-week.
Bury
Bury saw a total of 1210 cases in the week ending February 2, which is 460 fewer than the previous week. That is a fall of 28 per cent.
In Bury, the most recent coronavirus infection rate is now 634.5 cases per 100,000 people.
Stockport
In Stockport, there were 2270 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending February 2, which is 372 fewer than the previous 7 days.
Stockport has the highest infection rate in the region. The infection rate in Stockport is down slightly compared with the previous day and the week-on-week trend is down by 14 per cent.
Trafford
In Trafford, the latest infection rate is 648.2 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases has gone down by 26 per cent.
A total of 1540 people tested positive for Covid in Trafford over the seven days ending on February 2, which is 538 fewer than the week before.
Bolton
The trend is down in Bolton, where there were 1843 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending February 2, which is 543 fewer than the previous 7 days. That is down by 23 per cent compared to the previous week.
The latest infection rate in Bolton is 639.4 cases per 100,000 people, which is lower than the national average.
